WHAT MAKES me {HaPpY} part 2

so, the man in this pic is my honey--my dave--the one that can make me boiling mad in an instant and makes me feel safe and warm almost always.
i have known dave for close to 13 years and he still makes my heart flutter. he is very cute. our biggest problem is that we know each other too well. despite everything, i am very, very happy i am stuck with him(insert huey lewis tune here:)).

the kids are sleeping...{i'm DabBlinG!}

so...katie and robby's party is coming and invites have to go out...what fun it is to work in this tiny medium...of course, it would be so beyond my skill to replicate something more than once.(measuring, planning, lack of mistakes...these would make replication impossible:)) when these go in the mail they will each be original.

What Makes Me {HApPy}

so these are my ever sweet nutballs that i have the ultimate pleasure of waking up with each morning...could it get any better?
for this international women's scrapbooking thingi found out about yesterday, i hesitated about whether i would put I AM A MOTHER or I AM A WOMAN...somewhere inside i don't want my kids to think that i am solely defined by being a mom...not because it isn't the best thing ever but because i want them to know that it is never good to only have one sole focus or some mambo jambo like that......my brain is seriously most of the time overthinking everything!

but, yesterday, robby came running across the yard yelling "Mommy" in search of a hug and later Katie kissed my nose and told me she loved me and then i knew....with no doubt...I AM THE LUCKIEST BEING IN THE WORLD TO BE ABLE TO PUT I AM A MOTHER. it just doesn't get any better despite sleepless nights.

it is very early in the morning and the kids are screaming upstairs...i suppose robby's "mommy radar" went off...and then woke up katie...now there is chaos because i have broken routine. CIAO

so...i have been lurking around the blogging world for some time now and just loving reading other people's everyday stuff. the blogs i check are of strangers but i feel so darn connected to them and want to journal on my own...i need an outlet to spew all of my random thoughts that pinball around my head.

words and paper have become quite an obsession for me as of late and this blog stuff fits right in...i am anxiously optimistic about figuring this format out and having a place that can document my nuttiness.
