Can't let another minute pass before I tell this story- too cute for words, really.

Two days ago Robby received a light saber from Grandmom-he has been wanting one for quite a while. HE LOVES IT.

So when night came he wanted to sleep with his light saber- we were laying in bed and the light saber was on the coffee table downstairs.

Robby- "I want to sleep with my light saber."

Me- "Go downstairs and get it."

Robby- "I don't want to go downstairs and get it. I'm scared."

Me- "Don't be scared, turn on the hall light and get it, silly."

Robby-" If you get it, I'll tell you you're beautiful."

he is learning quick!

*pics are of Rob playing Game Cube- gaming is one of his favorite activities. blogs aren't fun without pictures.

Come on Spring!

Yesterday we met up at the mall with "the boys" to get our spring picture taken. It was a nice evening to be together. The air still feels cold but not so cold that you have to run inside. The sun makes you want to linger a little bit and the birds are even singing. Yeah, Spring!

Not much more to say...we are on Spring Break here and it feels nice to just be OFF. On Thursday we will be heading to Pittsburgh to celebrate Easter and Dave's birthday.

Today feels very cold and chilly- not at all spring like- but that is okay- we can have another fun day inside- and dream of going to the park and the zoo and taking walks and riding our bikes.

A pretty almost spring day...

so yesterday was Robby's Easter hat parade...we were excited about this event because of course, katie did it and it felt like a milestone for rob to have his parade also. he wore a hat that was borrowed from our good friends the Fuchs. krissy was shocked that i didn't make one for him on my own and to be honest, it really isn't like me but i was just so unsure of what to do for him- katie's was easy, flowers and bunny ears...but when i saw this cotton ball brigade, i just couldn't pass it up.
if you look really closely through the oversaturated photo at the top you will notcie that rob is wearing a different outfit. five minutes before we had to leave for school, he fell in a giant mud puddle and we had to change from head to toe...even his socks were muddy. i had tried to dress him in his finest- with kate, we would put on little dresses and look so pretty for events like this---it is just different with a boy- he is the most handsome of course, but it is not as fun to dress him.
when we drove up to school, Michael was perched at the driver's window looking around and enjoying the nice weather. the scene just made me smile so i snapped a few shots. he is such a quiet and loving little boy. i can tell he has so much to say...just wait until he starts talking.
of course, the parade was just adorable. the kids really weren't sure what all the hub bub was about...they are the only afternoon class so it was just the twelve of them...but cute anyway. i love watching rob do all of these things. it is so hard for me to think of him as anything but a baby...but now he is walking around telling everyone that he is almost four and he is going to play tee ball.
wow! a four year old and a six year old. what happened?

A great party...

Oh my, Wednesday morning- a slow morning that was not meant to be slow...

But we are enjoying ourselves and getting the house tidied and all of that sort of things- errands can wait- besides, the more I stay in, the less money I spend.

So here are the pics from Alex and Stephanie's wedding. We had a lot of fun. I took the big gun camera and am still on quite a learning curve with it. Each time, I use it, I learn more- but of course, I want instant success for each shot. I am also coming to the realization that I am going to have to learn photoshop if I want to get better...

What else is going on, not much...Katie, Dave and Rob were dancing maniacs at the wedding. It was great fun to watch them.

Happy Wednesday.

Where Have I Been?

not sure --- but, wherever it was it was fun and busy- and by busy i mean basically roaming around and doing the same things in the same circles that occupy most of my days.

also in the time frame since i last blogged: dave and i have rearranged our bedroom, i have made the bed every day, katie has lost two teeth, katie is crying everyday before she goes to school, robby has 32 new booboos, robby is getting very good at writing his name, dave has a minor obsession with webkinz(nothing some therapy couldn't solve,) and softball season has started.

life is GOOD.

soon, i will post some pics of the wedding i went to this weekend. it was great to be with my family at a happy occasion. but until then, i leave you with pics of the poncho my great katie created. she is growing up way too quick--- as she looks ten years old in these pics vs. the ten months old i would like her to look like...
