one of my very zany parts of myself is that sometimes- i get an idea and i just cannot get it out of my head.

it has not happened in a bit and in fact i have been wishing for the past few days that i could get that little seed in my stomach that says- YOU HAVE TO DO THIS- YOU HAVE TO DO THIS do not rest until you DO THIS.

and this morning it happened. on LIttle Birdie Secrets blog, I saw the fabric above- from IKEA!

and now i am going to drive myself to IKEA on Monday morning to get this fabric so I can make a skirt. and i will be thinking and thinking about it and if you happen to see me in said skirt- even if you do not like it- TELL ME you think it is amazing. because DARN it- I am going to make myself some clothes and probably look like a hobo in the process but....

@#3333333(kitten typing, i will leave it for craps and giggles as Dana says) also, as i type this i have a little cat swatting away from behind the computer monitor at my typing hands- it is very fun for him- not fun for me as it leads to many typos- when it stops, i will be SAD. funny how life is- huh.

* yesterday was just about a perfect stretched out SUmmer day: i havepics i will post later- some fit the scavenger hunt
mom and ash and the boys came over. kids played with the hose and the mud and made up all kinds of stories. i got to hold bryce and smell him. talked to jess on the phone twice. saw a rainbow at the wegmans- a full arch. got my dishwasher fixed. kids were so muddy from play had them jump in the pool with clothes to wash off. got a pedicure...flowers on toes. had lots of smiles and giggles from little baby boys. and baked- love to bake, lately. and what else, oh my, with all this typing i have forgotten. but it was a day to remember and to think back on when life feels a little empty as sometimes(only a titch of a time, don't worry, Mom) it does.


HAPPY SATURDAY> tomorrow Michael turns 2 and on August 1, I will be married for 11 years. :)
