gave us a little adventure yesterday--- her breathing was very labored on Sunday night and very early Monday morning, we took a trip to the Emergency Room. We were there for quite a while with her first and hopefully last bronchial spasm(ASTHMA.)
she was a very brave girl through it all- even an IV and an x ray and we are so proud of her...
we were home by 2:00 in the afternoon yesterday with a nebulizer machine to give treatments every four hours and we will be going back to the doctor tomorrow morning. no school or softball for katie today, just rest but she is feeling so much better-
the pics of katie with the bear and the striped shirt are from today and she is back to her old bouncy self but be sure, I am telling her to stay calm and relax. she is excited to know that cody the hospital bear is on the blog and even set him up reading with sunglasses for the blogging audience- see? back to her old self.
we are really hoping that this attack was allergy induced. katie's seasonal allergies were atrocious over the weekend and she was suffering a lot. the doctors do not think it has anything to do with pets or other allergens- just that darn pollen.
