Happy .

For the past three years at church the kids and I have done Operation Shoebox at the Christmas season. It is near and dear to my heart because the kids pick what goes in the shoe box and really enjoy it and my Mom Mom has been doing it for years with her church. I like to imagine a child opening this box and admiring the contents, smelling the soap, and hugging the small stuffed animals in the box.

This year was a little different for us because we instead of putting the shipping donation in the box like we normally do, we donated the shipping online. Our donation online required us to print out a shipping label and tape it to the box.

Well, today, I got an email saying our box was tracked to Malawi. Wow! Somehow it makes me twitter even more to know where the little children are that are getting Katie and Robby's boxes. Below is a link to this charity and the email they sent me.

Shoe boxes were first delivered to Blantyre, Malawi, in 2000. Since then, 291,853 children have received a gift. Last year 35,000 children enrolled in the Operation Christmas Child discipleship program.
