Things....

the other night, Dave and I were shutting down the lights for the night to head upstairs and we found the above scene in the corner of the dining room.
this is absolutely priceless to me....fantasy football thingamijigger....I mean, priceless. promise me you'll try to use thingamijigger in conversation...it will make you smile.
and yesterday i was dumping my card and found this picture. love these two children. thought i would share because Katie has aspirations of being my sister's mother's helper this summer. this type of activity will bring countless hours of stories for this blog. YES! sister's mother's helper--- that is kind of like saying Dog's Uncle's cousin ;)
did my annual slash and paste the Christmas cards....this is always a fun page to do...glue and paper are very therapuetic. i did this layout two days ago and loved doing it. didn't work in my scrap area because it was a HOT MESS and realized that this was one of the things that seems to be adding to my WINTER BLAHS....

so to make a long story longer, lately i have just been a little blah---laying around and napping too much, eating too much, watching TV too much, playing FACEBOOK too much--basically avoiding all the stuff i could/should be doing.

these behaviors are bringing me DOWN.

yesterday Dave gave me the push I needed and well, he and i cleaned up my craft area --- did a major clean up of the playroom and began organizing the attic. it feels good.
feeling good about your house is relaxing and makes you feel better...i heard that on Oprah today---so it must be true---but really, there is such a feeling about going to sleep in a clean bedroom. AHHHHH.

today to continue this trend of deBLAHING, i donated a bunch of excess stuff that was cluttering the house and i QUIT FARMVILLE on facebook. i have also decided that i will only check facebook now after the kids go to bed. ONCE a day...

that is enough blathering. here is a great picture....ohhh, i love all the people in the pic below.

my Mom Mom---she is one of the greatest people on Earth. Next time I have the blahs, I will just look at this picture and think of her. and if i continur my organization kick i might be able to find the picture.
