so at marshalls the other day --- i went for a frame and ended up with a candle, a picture of a bird, some potpourri, and a frame. i call this trip my "Take the Decorations down and Now I need some new and Refreshing things to MAke the HOUSE feel better." journey. Brevity has never been my strong suit.but anyway, there was decals for walls there and they had one with a Chandelier---they had another with the Eiffel tower...bestill my beating heart.
vinyl wall decals---silouettes of objects in black does not reflect my decorating style at all...i would assume the said decals would be more modern where as my house is a brick a brack mesh of hodge podge lodge. YES, that is a design term.
don't get me wrong. i like my house-- right now it needs some sprucing---nothing a few trips to thrift stores and some time with my cricut and glitter and heavy cardstock and my craft room can't fix....
but back to the chandlier----i want it for my room. i have loved this look of chandeliers since OLD NAVY had chandelier wall paper at Christmas three years ago. oh my....to live in my brain.
i will keep you posted as to whether or not i get the chandelier decal....i assure you it will not match anything in my room--the room that had a Calvin and Hobbs cartoon on the wall, a wedding picture and a wood carving that Dave and I got in Jamaica on our honeymoon. I know, my room is CLASSY.

Go for it!
GET IT!!!! A home is for things you love - who cares if it matches. And if you ever decide to go modern, you have your first piece. Go back tomorrow before it's gone.
P.S. LOVE your new blog design!
