I would like to make a RAG QUILT...

this i borrowed from the knit and tonic girl...i love her blog.

Choose chose seven prints/colors.

Buy 7/8's yard of each.

Cut 7-inch blocks of each color, and used a one-inch seam to sew them up, two at a time, with wrong sides together, selvage edges facing to one side.

Then link the two blocks sewn together until there are six in a row, then add on a seventh.

Once there are seven blocks in a row and nine total rows, sew up the rows, keeping all the selvage edges facing up.

Then sew around the whole rectangle an inch inside the edges, all the way around, twice.

Clip little fringes on every selvage.

You can add batting.
